Each SUV adds intuitive technology that keeps your favourite digital features always within reach. A wireless device charger ensures your phone remains charged, even on long commutes. While standard with the MINI Countryman, a wireless phone charger is only an available option with the X1. The MINI Countryman modernizes infotainment with its circular touchscreen display and first-ever AirConsole Gaming system, which helps pass time when parked. The BMW X1 follows a traditional design philosophy with its familiar touchscreen. It does not offer any type of gaming technology.
The MINI Countryman and the BMW X1 come with advanced driver-assist systems that use sophisticated monitoring tech to scan for potential hazards. These safety suites also include the ability for your SUV to apply gentle brake pressure to help avoid a collision. However, you may prefer the MINI Countryman due to its standard Rear Cross Traffic Warning and Rear Collision Prevention system, which helps enhance confidence when backing out of a busy parking lot.
